We wanted to take a moment to share our story – thank our team and, of course, thank you, our community, for enjoying Sōm and continuing to support our small business!
Sōm was originally crafted to supply Andy Ricker’s bar program with bold non-alcoholic drinks to compliment his Southeast Asian and Thai cuisine. Though the “drinking vinegars” have been at Pok Pok for almost as long as the restaurant has been around, Andy officially introduced Pok Pok Sōm in 2012. Sōm then relaunched in 2019 with elevated new packaging and expressions celebrating the intersection of discerning craft cocktail enthusiasts and alcohol-free beverages.

Sōm has been featured on menus at critically acclaimed restaurants and bars and is currently offered at local coffee shops, gift shops and craft spirit shops nationwide.
Since the pandemic, our once “small team” has oftentimes gotten even smaller with only one person creating, packing, and shipping Sōm from our commissary in Portland. Because of your support, we are welcoming back more team members and are grateful to continue to produce our beloved cordial for you.
