Portland-based “Farm to Fit” Healthy Meal Delivery Expands to Oregon City, Keizer and Salem
PORTLAND, ORE. — Portland’s locally-created and sourced gourmet meal delivery service, Farm to Fit, has expanded its metro delivery reach to include Oregon City, Keizer and Salem, beginning this week.
The company – based in NE Portland – currently delivers to the entire Portland-Metro market, including Vancouver. Starting on September 12, Farm to Fit’s hybrid delivery cars are also driving south to meet demand in Oregon City, Salem and Keizer.
“It was the next step in our growth,” said G. Scott Brown, co-founder of the NE Portland-based company. “We listen to our customers’ requests and the requests have been for us to expand further south in the Willamette Valley.”
Farm to Fit was early to arrive to the Portland meal delivery market in 2011 and the company has seen 100 percent growth every year since. The gourmet kitchen, based in NE Portland, prepares locally sourced, portion controlled meals using NW produce, dairy, eggs and meat. The weekly meal plans are simple to order, conveniently packaged and created by Executive Chef, Chris Turke, formerly of RingSide Steakhouse in Portland.
The complete service includes temperature controlled delivery, direct to customer’s homes, offices or designated delivery sites; and customized options include vegetarian, gluten-free and diabetic choices.
