Oaks Bottom Public House announces Totchos of the World

March 12, 2020

Oaks Bottom Public House announces Totchos of the World promotion, featuring six different variations of Totchos based on flavors from countries around the world
(PORTLAND, Ore. –– March 12, 2020) –– Fans of Totchos (tater tot nachos) will want to head to Oaks Bottom Public House in Westmoreland starting next Tuesday, March 17. The pub has announced “Totchos of the World,” a three-month excursion exploring six different versions of Totchos based on flavors from countries around the world. The event will take place at the pub at 1621 SE Bybee St. from March 17 through June 8. Each special Totchos dish will cost $12.
Totchos of the World travelers are encouraged to pick up a complimentary passport at Oaks Bottom Pub starting this weekend. Every two weeks, the pub will feature a different Totchos dish made with ingredients from a select country. Fans who order a country’s Totchos dish will receive a stamp in their passport.
The first two weeks will feature Totchos from Ireland, served with corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss and jack cheese queso and spicy 1000 Island sour cream. Following weeks recipes will include Middle East Totchos (March 31-April 13),
Africa Totchos (April 14-27), Asia Totchos (April 28-May 11), Italy Totchos (May 12-25) and Mexico Totchos (May 26-June 8).
If a patron collects at least four different country stamps by the end of the promotion on June 8, they can redeem their passport for a small regular Oaks Bottom Totchos order. Those who collect stamps from all six countries will receive a large regular Oaks Bottom Totchos order.

All passports can be submitted to be entered into a drawing to win a $50 Oaks Bottom gift certificate; winners will be notified by email June 15.

According to legend, the word Totchos originates from the Pacific Northwest and was likely started by the late Jim Parker, one of the original co-founders of Oaks Bottom Public House. Parker added the novelty to the menu when the pub first opened in 2006.
For more information, visit OaksBottomPub, @oaksbottompub, and RSVP to the Facebook Event.
