NYC Tasting: K+M Extravirgin Chocolate
Monday, November 20, 2017, 5-8pm, The Meadow Manhattan
We are very excited to announce the arrival of our newest line of fine chocolates from Chef Thomas Keller and Armando Manni, founders of K+M Extravirgin Chocolate. To celebrate, we are hosting a ‘Welcome to the Shelf’ event on Monday, November 20th from 5-8pm, at our Manhattan shop in the heart of the West Village, 523 Hudson St. The event is free and open to the public, but get here early, as we expect to be packed! You’ll be able to sample 9 different bars from K+M and you’ll also get a chance to meet K+M’s chocolatier, Chi Bui, and olive oil producer, Armando Manni. See you Monday!
As the first and only American-born chef to hold multiple three-star ratings from the prestigious Michelin Guide, Thomas Keller has established a reputation for excellence unparalleled in American cuisine. In Tuscany, Armando Manni has forged a similar reputation for quality by producing super-antioxidant, extra-virgin olive oils. Together, they have spent the past five years on a unique mission: crafting the world’s finest chocolate using a proprietary method that allows for the ultimate expression of the cocoa beans’ complex flavors, while preserving more of their natural antioxidants. The result of their collaboration: K+M Extravirgin Chocolate.
The addition of a small amount of heart-healthy, organic MANNI extra-virgin olive oil infuses K+M Extravirgin Chocolate with its signature texture while also boosting its antioxidant levels. Chocolatier Chi Bui sources the world’s best cocoa beans, traveling to remote locations to establish personal relationships with its growers. It’s good for the body, good for the soul.
