Sending you safe, happy, and healthy wishes as summer starts to wind down. The Nodoguro counter was decommissioned this week in order to facilitate the safe and spacious redesign of our dining room and we wish our old counter well in its next life. Wheeling it out the front doors really feels like the end of an era and we want to thank all of you who joined us for dinner at that old counter. Your support over the years has been the greatest joy at Nodoguro. As we look back we are saddened by the end of a thing, but we are hopeful and excited about what is to come. When we said goodbye to our old space on Hawthorne, we called this one Nodo 2.0 and now it seems we are on to Nodo 3.0. The next few weeks will be filled with planning and testing and I can’t wait for you all to come in and experience it.
We are still offering our takeout options this weekend, but will take the next few weeks off to focus on the launch of dine-in and reservations starting very soon.
Tonari will still be up and running during our break and we have added a few more specials for this weekend including, Dungeness Califonia roll onigirazu, and smoked black cod fish and chips. The patio is open to enjoy your takeout orders and Elena has designed a safe, spacious, and plant filled space! We now have a small curated selection of half bottle champagnes and sakes available for you to take away or enjoy on the patio!
