PORTLAND, Ore. (August 31, 2020) – Thirty-year-old family-owned and operated Nicky USA, the Pacific Northwest’s leading butcher and purveyor of high quality meats and specialty game, is proud to announce the addition of seafood boxes to their product offerings—just in time for the Labor Day holiday. Seafood boxes are available for local pickup or delivery in the Portland and Seattle areas. Each box contains a variety of uncooked fish, crab, and shrimp from Bornstein Seafoods, a family-owned company from the Pacific Northwest. To place an order, email info@nickyusa.com. For questions, call Nicky USA at (503) 234-4263.

In March, Nicky USA quickly pivoted from selling primarily to chefs, grocers, and other commercial establishments to selling high-quality meat and even paper goods directly to individual consumers. Their product line now includes a variety of meat boxes perfect for stocking up and at-home entertaining. The company’s relationships with local ranchers and small businesses has kept a variety of tasty proteins available for delivery throughout the summer.

Nicky USA first began offering wholesale seafood in June, providing a link between the Pacific Northwest fishing community and local tables at a time when the closures of restaurants and commercial establishments had upended the usual supply chain. Nicky USA’s seafood boxes allow customers to purchase high-quality Pacific Northwest seafood at wholesale prices.

The seafood in the boxes is wild-caught off the coast of the Pacific Northwest. It is hand-filleted, packaged, and frozen in processing facilities in Oregon, ensuring that your fish, crab, and shrimp are of the highest quality. With a variety of seafood in each box, it’s the perfect opportunity to try something new and stock up for multiple meals. For recipes and tips, visit beav.es/EatOregonSeafood.

The seafood sustainability policy is to purchase based upon harvest methods that meet strict management guidelines to secure equitable sharing amongst all users, and to maintain the ecosystem for future generations in the Pacific Northwest. Core to fulfilling these policies are employees who have been working for 20, 30 and 40 years, and their family members who can be found filleting and packaging fish, picking crab and shrimp meat.
