Next Up in Ground Breaker’s Roll-Up Door Series, Sasquash Imperial Stout

October 24, 2019

Next Up in Ground Breaker’s Roll Up Door Series, Sasquash Imperial Stout

(Portland, OR) – The second release of Ground Breaker Brewing’s limited 12-ounce can series, called the Roll Up Door Series, is about to hit shelves in select markets. Sasuash is an imperial stout made with locally grown slow-roasted pumpkins, pumpkin seeds, and modestly spiced with cinnamon, coriander, and nutmeg.

It is the brewery’s second imperial stout, the first being Imperial Darkness which was last released in late 2017. Fans of the 100% dedicated gluten-free brewery have been clamoring for another ever since and Ground Breaker has finally answered with this autumn-themed offering.

“You have to give the people what they want, but also satisfy ourselves as brewers,” explained Founder and Head of R&D James Neumeister. “We get asked all the time for more Imperial Darkness and we had also been kicking around the idea of bringing Squash Ale back this autumn so we combined this beer with the best of both worlds.”

Ground Breaker’s Sasquash Imperial Stout will be released in a 12 ounce can and on draft at their Gastropub. As a limited release, the 12-ounce cans will begin to hit store shelves in select Ground Breaker markets at the end of October.
