New Seafood Choices For Summer!

August 27, 2019

New Seafood Dishes Now On The Menu!

We’re celebrating Summer with a whole new lineup of seafood dishes that celebrate the season!

It wouldn’t be Summer without corn and heirloom tomatoes and they’re both part of our dinner halibut! Iron seared and served with house made creamed corn, roasted red potatoes, cherry tomatoes and heirloom tomato jam- it’s a wonderful combination of seasonal flavors!

Next is our Puget Sound mussels steamed in a house made heirloom tomato sauce with shallot, garlic, herb butter and fernet. Available all day and served with mandatory grilled bread of course!

Not pictured, but also new to the dinner and lunch menu is our new grilled salmon with an olive loaf panzanella salad of heirloom tomato, local greens, pickled shallot, preserved lemon and tomato vinaigrette!

Stop by soon before Summer’s over and see what’s new at Roots!
