We are happy to be carrying two brand new Oregon cheeses.
Moufette, aged in Portland, is made at the creamery at Oregon State University by Pascal Affinage. This beautiful, buttery cow’s milk cheese has a center layer of vegetable ash.
The newest cheese from Bandon’s Face Rock Creamery is Face2Face, a 12-month aged, clothbound cheddar made from a mixture of cow and sheep milk. We’re thinking Face2Face might be the perfect cheese for debate night viewing.
Carman Ranch Pick Up
Wednesday (Oct 28) is the next Carman Ranch pick up at Cheese Bar. Order your box of sustainable beef, chicken, or fish online by this Sunday. In addition to preordered boxes, they’ll be bringing other items that can be purchased on Wednesday:
culottes (similar to top sirloin)
ground beef (80/20)
How to Order: Go to the Carman Ranch website. Choose a box and some add-ons, select Cheese Bar as your pickup location. Order by midnight, Sunday, October 25.
