About the Bridgetown Collective
Local winery Antica Terra has partnered with some of Portland’s best wine-savvy restaurants to have bottles from OUR cellars shipped to YOUR door. Specially curated bottle selections will be part of a theme (producer, wine type, vintage, etc) and include some rare and hard-to-find gems. Selections will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis and can be shipped nationwide.
Grow Your Garden
The Les Dames d’Escoffier Portland chapter is excited to launch its first Green Tables Micro-Grant program to help a woman-owned restaurant (or food cart) build a garden bed to access fresh produce for their restaurant. In partnership with the Black Food Sovereignty NW Coalition, Culinary Breeding Network and Side Yard Farm, the micro-grant will also include a seed collection and gardening education throughout the year.
The Green Tables Micro-Grant applications are due by September 15, 2021. For more information, please email Sarah Marshall.
The Green Tables Initiative was launched in 2006 by Les Dames d’Escoffier International to connect urban and rural farms and gardens to school, restaurant and kitchen tables in communities nationwide.
