In case you haven’t yet heard, Impossible Burger recently launched its first major product upgrade this month (Impossible Burger 2.0!) and folks in Portland who are eager to try the new burger can find it in just two locations in town: Jackrabbit in downtown Portland and Irving Street Kitchen in the Pearl!
At Jackrabbit, guests can swap the new Impossible Burger for the regular burger whenever it’s offered (brunch, lunch, dinner)!
At Irving Street Kitchen, guests will find the burger on the happy hour menu as the Impossible Patty Melt, which features malt vinegar onions, pickles, miso-cashew cheese, harissa aioli. Chef Sarah Schafer is also using Impossible Foods in a few other dishes on their brunch and dinner menus.
The new recipe of the plant-based Impossible Burger 2.0 contains no gluten, no animal hormones and no antibiotics. It’s kosher- and halal-certified. It also has as much bio-available iron and protein as a comparable serving of ground beef from cows.
