National Pie Day: January 23rd
Here’s the thing: we know there are a lot of silly food holidays out there. We’re not sure who comes up with these holidays or why they exist, but we do know that we’ll take any excuse to celebrate pie. Someone out there saw fit to declare January 23rd as “National Pie Day”, and who are we to argue with that?
In honor of National Pie Day, we’ll be offering happy hour all day on the 23rd. That means a dollar off pie slices ALL DAY. What’s not to celebrate?
Here’s a full list of pies we’ll have available. Come celebrate pie with us!
Salted Caramel Apple
Blackberry Raspberry Streusel
Chocolate Bourbon Pecan
Meyer Lemon Chiffon
Blood Orange & Chocolate Meringue

Lauretta Jean’s Winter Survival Guide
Winter in the Northwest can be brutal, but we’ve got what you need to survive the long, dark days.
The best way to shake off the chill of winter is with a big warm mug of something boozy. Our current favorite winter cocktail is one we call The David Attenborough. Made with Townshend’s Earl Grey Tea, Brandy, Vanilla, and Milk – this drink goes does easy and warms the inside. Pairs nicely with a slice of pie and a good book.
Now, if you’re looking for something heartier to get you through the season, we recommend our new Roast Beef Sandwich. Layers of house-made roast beef are piled atop our freshly baked focaccia bread with melted Swiss, pickles, and a horseradish aioli. It’s everything you could want in a sandwich (and so much more).
And, we’d be remiss if we didn’t talk about the healing properties of pie. It’s citrus pie season, and what better way to fend off the winter blues than with a slice of sunshine? We’ve got the classics — Key Lime Pie and Lemon Meringue – and we’ve also got some fun and zesty creations – Meyer Lemon Chiffon and Blood Orange with Chocolate Meringue. These pies are bright and vibrant and are a sure cure for the winter blues!
