Dollar oysters, late night, kids menus and all the rest of what’s happening at Wares
The first year of Wares really flew by! I have not been the best at sending out newsletters since we opened, so I’ll fill you in on what’s been going on and what I have planned for the future. First off, thank you to everyone who came and supported our new spot after the closure of smallwares. After doing fine-dining for so long, it has been interesting to figure out how to do fast-casual but still have a fun creative menu with a good variety of dishes., and also great to connect with more customers having such an open format.
Don’t forget to check out a couple of things like our late night happy hour from 10pm-11:45pm. Enjoy a cocktail from Paydirt while you eat Dan Dan noodles out on the patio in the upcoming summer nights. Every Monday night, from 6pm until we sell out, we do $1 oysters on the half shell with our fish sauce vinaigrette. Have little ones or picky eaters? We offer a special “build your own” noodle or rice kid’s bowl so the whole family can be happy! Just ask at the register and we will help you out. We have a small wine and beer list, but it is packed with great unique choices that go great with our food.
Follow us on Instagram @warespdx_ or Facebook Warespdx to stay up to date on our all specials, like hanger steak tacos with kimchi queso, or pork belly miso ramens. There is always something off the menu happening here at the Zipper building on Sandy!
