Bee’s Knees to Benefit Raphael House in May
New Deal Distillery presents Cocktails for a Cause, a month-long cocktail fundraiser
Portland, OR – New Deal Distillery will team up with eighteen bars and restaurants in May to raise funds for Raphael House of Portland, a domestic violence resource center. Each spot will put its spin on the classic gin, lemon, and honey cocktail and donate one dollar from each Bee’s Knees sold in the month of May. All will feature New Deal’s Portland Dry Gin 33 but expect to see a wide array of both traditional and unusual riffs. Count on tropical twists, sunny slushies, infused honey syrups, bee pollen, blueberries, orange blossoms, spicy pineapple, cucumber, chamomile, and plenty of fabulous garnishes.
New Deal owner and distiller, Tom Burkleaux said, “A big part of our philosophy at New Deal is giving back to our community, and we’re excited to take it to the next level. I’m looking forward to trying all the different Bee’s Knees variations and I hope other people are too. It’s for a good cause!”
