Portland, Ore. (July 20, 2022) – Kinnamōns, a new bakery headed by Portland restaurateur Micah Camden and MMMCo, opened in the heart of Portland’s Pearl District on July 19 8am-8pm daily. The new bakery concept elevates the traditional cinnamon roll to showcase seasonal ingredients and innovative glazes, while also preserving the indulgent qualities of this iconic pastry.

Kinnamōns opened in the heart of the Pearl District at 1241 NW Johnson. The bakery’s name takes its inspiration from kinámōmon, the Greek word for cinnamon. The menu features the bakery’s signature cinnamon rolls, as well as espresso, flavored coffee and other beverages.

“Ten years ago chefs reinvented donuts. Five years ago it was the cookie,” says Kinnamōns pastry chef Jacquie Aguilar Uluan. “Now it’s the cinnamon roll’s turn. We’ve redefined it to showcase seasonal and local ingredients such as Oregon strawberries, as well as glazes such as Cookies and Cream. All while retaining what makes a cinnamon roll so satisfying: sweet and gooey deliciousness.”

Kinnamōns rolls are baked and glazed daily for maximum freshness. Part of what makes them so unique is the fact that they are baked individually in springform molds. In addition, the rolls feature exciting glazes using fresh and local ingredients. The delicious glaze flavors include Blueberry Crumble, Chocolate Almond, Raspberry Pistachio, Tiramisu, Strawberry Lemon Poppy, Key Lime, Blackberry Lavender, Banana Cream, and of course Classic Cream Cheese.

For a full look at the menu, see here: https://www.kinnamons.com/. Kinnamōns is available for walk-up orders, take-out and delivery through apps like Caviar, DoorDash, Postmates, Grubhub, and Uber Eats.
