Canard Kicks Off IPNC with Winemaker Hannes Reinisch of Johanneshof Reinisch, on 7/25
Join us at Canard on Wednesday, July 25, as we will have winemaker Hannes Reinisch of Johanneshof Reinisch pouring and talking about his wines from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm for a pre-IPNC (International Pinot Noir Celebration) event. Sariya Jarasviroj Brown, owner of importer Circo Vino, will be present as well. Stop by to purchase a glass of one of Hannes’ incredible wines, and hear all about it from the man himself.
Located in Austria’s historic Thermenregion, the Reinisch family has been producing wines for 4 generations. The estate is currently run by three brothers: Hannes, Christian and Michael. With a 2,000 year legacy of wine growing in the region, the Reinischs’ maintain the Thermenregion’s winemaking traditions. They are best known for their excellent Pinot Noir and St. Laurent, as well as their wildly exotic whites made from Rotgipfler and Zierfandler. The Reinisch family farms organically and takes their thoughtful approach from vineyard to cellar to bottle.
Hannes will be pouring the following wines at Canard:
Reinisch Rotgipfler, 2016 – $10/glass
Reinisch Zierfandler Spiegel, 2012 – $15/glass
Reinisch Pinot Noir, 2016 – $10/glass
Reinisch St. Laurent Frauenfeld, 2009 – $16/glass
We hope you will join us at Canard on July 25 to experience incredible varietals from Johanneshof Reinisch direct from their head winemaker!
