Farm to Fit to Introduce New Ketogenic Menu in January
—Portland’s ready-to-eat healthy meal delivery service launches delicious Keto meals in time
for New Year’s resolutions—
—The increasingly popular Keto Diet results in weight loss, energy, curbed cravings, and more—
(Portland, OR)—This January, Farm to Fit will introduce a Ketogenic menu to complement its robust selection of healthy, ready-to-eat meals. This popular and effective diet will help Farm to Fit clients reach their health goals in the New Year—and beyond.
Farm to Fit owners G. Scott Brown and Dré Slaman started the meal delivery company seven years ago with the overarching philosophy that portion control and healthy, delicious ingredients lead to weight loss. They were skeptical of the restrictive nature of eating a Ketogenic Diet—until Farm to Fit staff, including G. Scott, tried it for themselves found they felt incredible and lost significant weight. Following a successful four week pilot program, they knew they had offer this plan to the public.
“The results are incredible, and I can’t believe how great I feel after four months of eating this way,” says G. Scott. “The Ketogenic diet is restrictive by nature, but Farm to Fit is committed to making it easy and fun for our clients to reach their goals with our ready-to-eat Keto meals.”
The Keto diet is a strict diet of eating a high amount of fat (70-75% of your calories), a moderate amount of protein (20%-25%) and a minimal amount of carbohydrates (5%). The diet is intended to make the body use fat for fuel, rather than glucose. It turns the body into a fat-burning machine without hunger pangs. People who “go Keto” rave about glowing skin, increased focus and energy, feeling lighter, and fewer food cravings, especially for sugar. The diet has been around for decades and was originally created to help reduce symptoms of epilepsy, but has become trendy for a wide range of people in recent years.
A two week Keto Kick Starter Pack of 42 meals starts at $399, and includes delicious dishes like chorizo and eggs, salmon with pesto and spinach, and chicken pot pie. It typically takes about two weeks for the body to adapt from using carbs as fuel into using fat for fuel, making the discounted Keto Kick Starter Pack is an ideal way to try out this way of eating.
Farm to Fit will continue to offer regular weekly seasonal plans, along with paleo, diabetic-friendly, and low carb menus. The Keto Plan will be available in weekly three, five or seven day-a-week plans, like the other menus. Customers can order as few as three meals or as many of 21, priced between $7.50 to $14 a meal.
