On Thursday, March 19th, Le Pigeon will host a beer dinner with Portland’s Breakside Brewery, with seatings at 5:30pm and 8:15pm. Known more for wine pairings than beer, the staff is very excited about pairing Breakside’s exceptional beers with Le Pigeon’s cuisine. The dinner will be five courses for $110, including beer pairings (gratuity not included). Chef Gabriel Rucker and Chef de Cuisine Andrew Mace are working on dishes for the dinner to pair with five Breakside beers, selected especially for the evening: Amuse, Tropicalia, Apollo & Dionysus, Alan from the Wood, Cedarbaumbier and New World Bruin. Breakside is known locally and nationally for their award-winning and experimental beers by brewmaster Ben Edmunds. Their IPA won the Gold medal for American-Style IPA at the Great American Beer Festival in 2014.
Please call the restaurant to book at (503) 546-8796. We will not be taking reservations online or via email. We kindly ask for a credit card to hold all reservations for this very special event.

About Le Pigeon:
Le Pigeon on bustling East Burnside Street in Portland, Oregon challenges the notions of classic French cuisine by juxtaposing uniquely prepared ingredients in unparalleled, clever execution by two-time James Beard Award winning chef Gabriel Rucker. Open nightly for dinner, one can get a glimpse of the restaurant’s Co-Owner/Chef Rucker and his team’s food theatre by dining at Le Pigeon’s 10-seat chef’s counter, available for walk-ins only, or reserve a spot at one of three communal dining tables for an intimate but relaxed fine dining experience. Complementing the ever-changing menu is a worldly beverage list overseen by Andrew Fortgang, Co-Owner and Wine Director of Le Pigeon and its sister restaurant, Little Bird Bistro. Chef Rucker opened Le Pigeon in 2006 and has since become one of Portland’s most respected and decorated chefs, earning many accolades, including two James Beard Awards for Rising Star Chef in 2011 and Best Chef Northwest in 2013, Food & Wine Best New Chef 2007, The Oregonian’s Restaurant of the Year and Portland Monthly’s Chefs of the Year.
