Last Pozole Night! NYE Plans! 2020 Adventures!

December 18, 2019

DECEMBERING

As this rollercoaster of a year comes to a close, we’re thinking about all the things we did right (cooking under the sun and stars, helping people celebrate special moments in their lives, exploring new places, cultures and foodways, feeding you on riverbanks and seashores, in meadows and our dining room) as well as all the things we want more of (good food and good people, new adventures, travel, growth, curiosity, community).

A very heartfelt thank you to each of you that has sat at our table, followed along on our journey or rooted for us from the sidelines. Running a small but passionate business is hard but deeply rewarding work, and we couldn’t do it without you. Warmest wishes for a lovely holiday season and a year ahead filled with joy and abundance.

See you at the table,
Mona + Jaret

TAZÓN POZOLE
Thursday, December 19
Tournant Dining Room, 920 NE Glisan St
5-9pm, no reservations necessary

Come join us for the last pozole party of the year! What a fine way to cruise into the holidays, with a convivial evening of cozy soups, cheesy nachos and icy margaritas – all prepared by someone other than you! It will be like a mini-vacay to sunny Mexico to fortify you and set you right.

BASICS: Steamy bowls start at $12 and you can choose from pork rojo, chicken verde or verduras (vegan), plus traditional and not so traditional add-ins. This month we’re also offering a special seafood pozole!

BONUS: The entire menu is gluten-free, in case you’re into that kind of thing.

PRO TIP: You’ll want to start with some sheet pan nachos or Shauna’s sparkling fresh ceviche and save room for Joe’s famous chocolate flan with mezcal caramel.
