This informative class will include an hour and a half of instruction, and students will leave with a recipe book, ingredient buying guide, and 4 ounces of each salsa! Chef Kelly Myers will walk us through these preparations:
1. Taco Shop Guac – A classic tomatillo based salsa with the addition of creamy avocado.
2. Mayan Sikil P’ak – A Mayan dip great with chips or crudite, delicious on poultry or as a spread.
3. Salsa Borracha – Dried red ancho chiles and mezcal, this salsa will be a unique addition to your repertoire.
4. Salsa Verde – A fundamental salsa that can be applied in oh-so-many ways!
Enjoy lunch afterward of Xico’s signature Oaxaca taco salad made with summer cherry tomatoes, & fresh wild seafood ceviche, on our patio! Wine and margaritas will be available too (of course)!
