PORTLAND, Ore. (March 13, 2015) – For those of you seeking a relaxed place to enjoy a festive meal and good old-fashioned fun – to drink like you’re Irish – can head to New American! The menu is inspired by chef and owner Aaron Dionne’s travels hitchhiking across Ireland touring the local pubs. He hopes to bring the same energy and Irish spirit to New American- good food, comfort, and community.
Wear green (or don’t) and come enjoy a Guinness and a special menu of hearty Irish dishes, complete with whiskey cakes and Guinness floats. Whether you’re looking for a place to celebrate with friends and family, or pick-up a celebratory meal to bring home, we’ll keep the tap running and fill your stomachs until you start saying no!
In addition to regular menu items, New American will be offering the following Irish inspired specials:
Irish Lamb Stew
With potatoes, carrots, onions, and served with bread and butter
Beer, Bacon, and Cheese Soup
