SouthFork partners with PDX Jazz to pair creative, globally-inspired food from Executive Chef Patrick McKee with live jazz
PORTLAND, Ore. (March 22, 2018) – SouthFork is excited to celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month this April, in partnership with PDX Jazz. SouthFork will play host to special Friday performances featuring some of Portland’s brightest jazz musicians all month. An official partner of PDX Jazz, a non-profit cultural arts organization dedicated to curating jazz in Portland, SouthFork is one of four distinct participating venues that will host over 50 musicians all to celebrate the incredible jazz community in Portland. SouthFork is known for their rare combination of top live jazz with creative, globally inspired dishes from Iron Chef America winner Executive Chef Patrick McKee. SouthFork boasts two unique and distinct experiences, a light, airy open kitchen restaurant in front and a moodier back lounge where you can take in dinner and a show. All jazz performances begin at 7pm on Fridays throughout the month of April. Full schedule is available below.

August of 2011, McKee competed with Chef Paley and Chef Ben Bettinger on Iron Chef America where they defeated Iron Chef Jose Garces in Battle Radish. In 2012, McKee took a trip through Spain and had the opportunity to stage at Arzak, one of the most innovative restaurants in the world,

The lounge features some of Portland’s best jazz performers live on Friday and Saturday nights from 7-10pm, as well as during Sunday brunch. SouthFork is open daily for dinner, jazz brunch on Sunday, and offers all night happy hour on Tuesdays. SouthFork also offers patio dining in the warmer months.
