Honey-glazed duck and spicy peach chutney bring excitement

August 10, 2021

Dear Friends and Family,

It’s always exciting to introduce new menus to you all, and you all have responded with incredible enthusiasm once again. Our Duck à la Peach is a standout, and for a dry-aged and honey-glazed duck breast served with an heirloom grits cake and spicy peach chutney, it’s not hard to see why!

Another favorite is our Salade Niçoise Ma Façon. The potatoes, green beans, cherry tomatoes and olives are gently warmed, then placed on a bed of garlicky tonnato sauce and served alongside a beautifully grilled rare Albacore tuna loin.

Late summer means that the juiciest tomatoes imaginable are on the menu. You can enjoy them two ways: our Heirloom Tomato, Taleggio and Roasted Garlic Tart is savory and very tasty, and our cool Heirloom Tomato Gazpacho with grated egg and cucumber relish is one of our favorite summer soups.

As always, there are plenty of great takeaway options as well as some of our favorite ingredients for you to use and cook at home in the Paley’s Marketplace. For the Paley’s Place Pantry, we’ve added our famous Tonnato Sauce and our Tapenade Niçoise alongside ripe, locally-grown melons, organic cherry tomatoes and mixed berries to the list.

✨Reservations are open for Wednesday through Saturday from 4 to 10 pm and our full takeaway options are available through Tock. Happy summer to all!

With much gratitude,

Chef Vitaly Paley, Kimberly Paley and the Paley’s Place Team
