(PORTLAND, Ore. –– May 29, 2020) –– Portland’s iconic Higgins Restaurant is the latest Portland establishment to offer take out. Starting Friday, June 5, the downtown Portland restaurant at 1239 SW Broadway will offer a full take out menu including starters, sandwiches, main courses, sides, desserts, beer and wine. Take out is available daily from 11am to 6pm.

“We’re thrilled to rekindle relationships with our kindred growers and artisans,” said Greg Higgins. “Their incredible ingredients will be featured in a menu offering many of our most popular dishes –– from Carman Ranch grass-fed burgers, the return of our Reuben, and our charcuterie and cheese board to spring salads, ravioli with morels and asparagus, and Molly’s cheesecake with Baird Family Orchard fruits.”
Higgins is also introducing a new Higgins Happy Hour Kit, which serves four to six people and features Higgins salami, select artisan cheeses, duck liver moussette, focaccia, olives, spiced hazelnuts and condiments, for $75. Other take out highlights include wine steward Andy Zalman’s wine picks and bottled beers curated by beer steward Pauly Miller.
