Here’s what cooking: Braised Beef Taco Meals, Pork Chile Verde &more! Order by 4pm TUES 4/14 for WED 4/15 PickUp! PickUp now avail at SE&NW locations.

April 13, 2020

Family Meals From Xico

After many requests for salsa de muchos chiles, here it is! We’re also making our pork chile verde available by the quart, packed cold or frozen, ready to be reheated in your kitchen.

We’re happy to report that we can now offer pick up from both our locations. Northwest residents, we’re here for you! The store looks different, but it’s easy to navigate. Just choose your pick up location, and fill your cart! There is now tipping available, and we thank you for your many requests to tip us! Tipping isn’t necessary, we’re just thankful to have your business.

You’ll see two prices for most items in this newsletter. Everything, from rent to parking to food transport, is more expensive in NW, so most of our NW items are marked up $2.

Our team of 5 is still working, staying safe and healthy, and vigilantly maintaining a sterile workspace. Thank you for your conscientiousness when picking up, and your continued support!

Here’s what’s cooking this week!

Sanitation methods we’re taking:

Beyond the usual cleaning and disinfecting, we’re wearing gloves and masks while working and our server has one N95 mask to wear while handing out dinners.

Kitchen staff is staggering hours, and maintaining 6ft distance when working together. We are a small crew, not introducing new people to the environment, though we miss our old coworkers!

We provide paid sick leave AND employer-paid health insurance. Our employees do not have to work when they’re sick.

Let’s all work together to achieve social distancing during pick up; If customers are waiting, please wait your turn 6 ft away. If you have to wait, complimentary red or white wine will be flowing (and it’s good)!

We have nitrile gloves if you want to wear them while you pick up your bags, and plenty of hand sanitizer available for you!
