Spring has freaking Sprung!
It’s time to grab your canvas tote and hit the farmers market! For the love of arugula and kale raab, the colors and freshness of Spring has arrived. Our Vegan Iron Chef team is excited to reconnect, recharge and positively invigorate with appropriately fresh ideas!
So! We’ve got TWO new events in the works for 2018, new podcast episodes to record, recipes and blogs to scribble down, Swiss Chard frittata to bake, and planning + volunteer meetings to schedule (join us!)
First up, save the date for June 29th’s “HERB YOUR ENTHUSIASM”….
Join us for the freshest Friday night vegan potluck around!
Community Room at People’s Co-Op 3029 SE 21st Ave
This is an all-ages event starring seasonally-inspired potluck dishes, a veggie swap table, garden tips, blind herb taste test game, and surprises tba!
There is a suggested donation of $10-20 per person to help cover costs and raise funds for our 100% volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit ♥ Advance tickets available.
*Attendees are asked to bring TWO things to participate…
Come meet new friends, eat great food…and enjoy (or, rediscover) new-to-you veggies!
Help Plan our Summer Community Cook-Off!
(We’re thinking !)
To make this hot stuff happen, we’re holding an open call for new volunteers, from the passionately-plant-based to those planning + logistics minded! We are currently recruiting new board members and organizing committees for events and projects.
