Help us make the RESTAURANTS Act a reality

December 1, 2020

Hi there,

Congress is back to work in D.C. this week, so we’re sending a letter to Speaker Pelosi, Leader McConnell, Leader Schumer, and Leader McCarthy urging them to pass the RESTAURANTS Act immediately. There is no more time to wait: restaurants and bars are closing permanently, leaving the millions of people our industry employs out of work and uncertain about their future. This industry is in crisis through no fault of our own, and we need their help.

We’re trying to collect as many signatures as possible. Sign on to the letter here now and share the link with your networks.

The bipartisan RESTAURANTS Act would establish a $120B relief fund that would award grants to struggling restaurants and bars. 214 U.S. Representatives and 50 U.S. Senators from both parties have co-sponsored this commonsense legislation because they recognize no small business should have to choose between the health and safety of their staff, guests and community, and keeping their teams employed.

It’s time for Speaker Pelosi, Leader McConnell, Leader Schumer, and Leader McCarthy to listen to their colleagues and members of our industry from across the country. If you haven’t already, sign on now so we can make sure they hear us loud and clear.

Thanks,

The IRC Team
