Rainer Cherry Seltzer
“Few images represent the Pacific Northwest more than Mount Rainier. Our newest flavor encompasses that same spirit, iconic feel and Pacific Northwest bounty. Unlike other dark cherry varietals, we were inspired to be unique with a rare, delicate and sweeter cherry that’s recognized as an elite cherry in Eastern Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Welcome Rainier Cherry to our family.”
I will admit that I rarely pop open one of these new seltzer beverages that have come out over the last couple of years. However, I tried this new seltzer and…it’s pretty damn refreshing. It’s low ABV and tasty cherry notes make it a great go-to for a hot weekend. Stay cool and enjoy.
Tasting Notes: Crisp acidity and raspberry flavors give this wine an initial zippy and tart sensation that is underlined by a beautiful mineral texture. It is fruity, zesty, fresh, and ready to drink in the warm summer sun! This is a great deal at $27/bt for those that love pink wines from Sancerre. Treat yourself.
Pelican Sea ‘n Red
I know a red beer is perhaps not the best companion to super hot days, but there are so few out there that when we get them in, we need to let you all know. The Pelican is smooth with a malty presence with flavors of toffee and a touch of cocoa. It’s lush, delicious and, you know what, it’ll be great in this warmer weather. You serve it cold right? Maybe in some A/C? Either way, I’d pick some up.
