May 20, 2021

The Portland, Oregon-based Great American Beer Festival® and World Beer Cup® winning gluten-free brewery is partnering with Imperial Beverage to bring their lineup to the Great Lakes State. Ground Breaker beers will begin hitting store shelves just before Memorial Day weekend.
“Expanding our distribution footprint to the Midwest has been a long-held goal of ours,” said James Neumeister, the founder of Ground Breaker Brewing. “We feel we’ve found an amazing partner in Imperial Beverage, they’re a top distributor in the state and they understand our brand and what it brings to the craft beer world.”
Imperial Beverage will be bringing the full lineup of Ground Breaker Brewing’s 100% gluten-free craft beer to Michigan including:

IPA No. 5, (Silver medal, Gluten-Free Beer, 2015 GABF; Silver award, Gluten-Free Beer, 2018 WBC) 12 ounce & 16 ounce can package and draft.
Olallie Ale, 12 ounce can package and draft.
Dark Ale, (Gold medal, Gluten-Free Beer, 2014 GABF, 2016 GABF, 2017 GABF; Bronze medal, Gluten-Free Beer, 2018 GABF) 16 ounce can package and draft.
Inclusion Dry-Hopped Pale Ale, (Bronze medal, Gluten-Free Beer, 2012 GABF) in a 16 ounce package and draft.
Ephemeral Series, 16 ounce can package and draft.

The first of Ground Breaker’s seasonal Ephemeral Series releases to make the journey to Michigan will be Mellow Meridian Juicy Pale Ale, filled to the brim with notes of fresh peach, grapefruit and citrus. At 4.8% ABV it’s sessionable but very juicy with a soft and delicate bitterness.
