PORTLAND, OR – This spring a new food cart pod has opened in one of Portland’s most promising neighborhoods and is ready to celebrate its Grand Opening this weekend. Local developer Gene Pavlenko and his team have built out a beautiful new space on their 10,000 SF Foster lot (located on NW corner of SE Foster Rd & 74th Ave). The pod is continuing to fill up and currently operating at about half its vendor capacity. Some of the current food options include American, Russian, Jamaican and Mexican fare. The pod is topped off with a beer porch which boasts over a dozen taps!
“We wanted the space to be natural, relaxed and centered around the feeling one gets while camping with family and friends.” Says Gene Pavlenko. “The pod is furnished with wood tables, log benches, lots of vegetation and of course a stone fire pit for marshmallow roasting on chilly evenings!”
The grand opening event, scheduled for Saturday July 28th from 12pm to 9pm, will include live music for everyone and free popsicles and campfire marshmallows for the kids.
