“Treat Yo Self” Oyster Social ft. The Wilderness Hunters
It’s the final Oyster Social of 2017 and we’re going out in style!
We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome The Wilderness Hunters back to Tournant. Eric and Sara are a culinary powerhouse of a couple that does it all from foraging, fishing, hunting, cooking, curing, preserving and baking–and they somehow make it all look effortless (and delicious).
For this Oyster Social, they are embracing the decadence of the holiday season with dishes like foraged chanterelle mushroom and smoked oyster chowder, a Rocky Mountain bison hump pastrami reuben laced with crab thousand island dressing, and an albacore tartare with sorrel crème fraîche and American sturgeon caviar served in a blown glass bowls that Sara made herself. We told you they do it all!
We will be showcasing fresh NW oysters, whole live Dungeness crab and some other surprises. Matt from Merit Badge will be shaking and stirring up cocktails with style and we’ll be donating 10% of all drink sales to #PDX4PR for hurricane relief in Puerto Rico.
It’s been one helluva year. Come raise a glass with us!
When: Friday, December 1
Time: 5-9pm, drop in seating, no reservations necessary
Where: Tournant, 920 NE Glisan Street
Secret Supper Coast to Coast
A couple years ago we met the wonderful ladies of Secret Supper, and a friendship and partnership was born. Since then we’ve collaborated on eight different suppers, each held in a remarkable location with sumptuously set tables filled with dishes we’ve created to reflect both time and place. Next year we’re taking this show on the road! Our two Portland suppers are sold out but there are a handful of tickets left for both Napa and New York. Who will join us at the table?

Our friends at Migration Brewing are putting on a seafood social! Their chefs will be whipping up some sea-to-table dishes, we’ll be there to fulfill all your freshly shucked oyster needs and there will be beer. Lots and lots of beer.
