WHAT: Food Network Star and “Iron Chef” contestant Chef Eric Greenspan is partnering with Comfort Hotels and Portland’s own Home Plate Sliders food truck to hand out FREE samples of flavored waffles in celebration of the hotel brand’s #WhatsYourWaffle campaign. Chef Greenspan will help serve a variety of flavored waffles to the city of Portland, including Birthday Cake, Sweet Caramel, and Cinnamon Roll and ask visitors to help pick a new waffle flavor to be served at complimentary breakfasts at select Comfort brand hotels.
From now through October 12, everyone can vote online for their favorite flavor or submit their own creation at ComfortHotelsWaffleDay.com or Twitter, Instagram or Facebook with the hashtags #WhatsYourWaffle and #Sweepstakes. A random winner will be entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win 500,000 Choice Privilege points, which equates to almost 30 free night stays at a Comfort hotel.
