Three winners will receive a trip for four to celebrate in style at Fogo in Rio de Janeiro
DALLAS (May 12, 2015) – Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse has unveiled Celebrations at Fogo, an invitation for guests to celebrate life’s moments in the traditional Brazilian way, by gathering for a churrasco feast. These feasts began generations ago with the Fogo founders in Serra Gaúcha, Brazil and inspired the Fogo dining experience in place today. To honor the tradition and launch Celebrations, guests who visit Fogo now through June 28 will have the opportunity to enter to win prizes including one of three trips to Brazil to celebrate in style at one of their Rio de Janeiro locations*.
Each guest who dines at Fogo within the next seven weeks will receive a unique code to enter on Fogo.com/celebrations. Fogo will randomly select winners throughout the promotional period to win prizes including thousands of dollars in Fogo dining cards as well as three grand prize winners. The three grand prize winners will receive a trip to Rio de Janeiro for themselves and three guests, which will include hotel, airfare, a $250 voucher (Visa gift card), an authentic gaucho churrasco celebration at Fogo de Chão Rio, and a guided tour of the city.
“Our mission has always been to provide a festive and elegant dining experience reminiscent of the grand churrasco feasts of our heritage,” said Vice President of Marketing Andy Feldmann. “To us, our guests are like family, and we want to help them create lasting memories by celebrating life’s moments at Fogo…whether a first date, important business occasion or just because they need a night out. What better way to honor that tradition than by rewarding guests with the chance to win a trip to Rio de Janeiro and celebrate their next meal at Fogo in Rio.
Whether serving a large group or an intimate dinner, Fogo can accommodate celebrations of all sizes. Fogo practices a continuous service style which allows guests to control the variety and quantity of their food and the pace of their dining experience. Guests can pause the service at any time by turning the Fogo medallion to red and then back to green when they are ready to try additional selections and can communicate to the gauchos their preferred cut of meat, temperature and portion size. The full menu offers a variety of unique flavors and authentic natural ingredients that are sure to please the most discerning palate and can accommodate dietary restrictions.
Fogo de Chão is a leading Brazilian steakhouse, or churrascaria, which has specialized for over 35 years in fire-roasting high-quality meats utilizing the centuries-old Southern Brazilian cooking technique of churrasco. Fogo offers guests a wide variety of simply seasoned meats, that are carefully fire-roasted to expose their natural flavors, including the house specialty picanha sirloin, filet mignon, ribeye, lamb chops, the center cut bone-in pork chop, and chicken wrapped in bacon, to name a few. Additionally, Fogo offers a colorful gourmet Market Table with an abundance of seasonal salads, the freshest vegetables, hot side dishes, a charcuterie area, smoked salmon and much more. Southern Brazilian side dishes such as pão de queijo (warm cheese bread), crispy hot polenta, and caramelized bananas are served family style. A tempting dessert menu, creative and classic cocktails, and an award-winning wine list complement the dining experience. Guests can also try the newly-introduced lighter seafood selection or enjoy the gourmet Market Table only option.
