PORTLAND, Ore. (January 29, 2018) – 180, Portland’s first Spanish xurreria, know for their delicious made to order treats is announcing its yearly Valentine’s Special. This year 180 Xurros will offer a box of xurro bonbons.
A mini stuffed xurro with house-made raspberry cream, dipped in white chocolate and finished with edible gold sugar.
The Bonbon Xurros are available to pre-order online www.180pdx.com/shop as well as you can call the shop for order for 2/13/18 or 2/14/18.
Sad to miss the bonbons? No worries, come in all month of February and bite into the monthly special 180 Xurro will offer a raspberry stuffed xurro topped with dark chocolate crumbles all month of February.

Although Americans may be familiar with the churro they get every year at the local county fair, it doesn’t compare to authentic xurros ( chu rō) from Spain. Originally dreamed up by husband and wife team José Chesa and Cristina Baéz love for xurros to bring 180 Xurro, Portland’s first xurreria. In order to share the traditional and beloved Spanish xurros. José was raised eating these scrumptious treats in Spain and is eager to transport those young and young at heart to the streets of their youth, where they can watch xurros made to order and fried at 180 degrees celsius (hence the name) through large windows in the open kitchen space. The menu features plain, sugar & cinnamon, chocolate covered, or filled xurros, expertly paired with hot chocolate, homemade dipping sauces and coffee from Local Roasting Company. Bon Appetit Magazine named 180’s xurros as one of the Best Desserts of 2016 and Portland Monthly Magazine named 180 Portland’s Best Dessert of 2016.
