July 2, 2021

EVERGREENS KICKS OFF A NEW COLLABORATION SALAD SERIES WITH JAMES BEARD WINNING CHEF GABRIEL RUCKER TODAY.

The fast casual salad company opens two locations in Portland this summer: Hillsboro open now; and the Lloyd District opening in early July.

PORTLAND, Ore. (June 30, 2021) – EVERGREENs, the fresh, fast casual salad concept celebrates the return of summer with a brand new chef collaboration salad series benefiting local charities. For it’s debut, EVERGREENs has teamed up with two-time James Beard winning chef Gabriel Rucker, of Le Pigeon and Canard in Portland, Oregon, to craft a one-of-a-kind creative salad creation. This new series will highlight beloved chefs from both Portland and Seattle. The first ever collaboration salad will be featured on menus at all Oregon locations, for a limited time only this summer, beginning today June 30th.

The chef collaboration salad will benefit local community partner Transition Projects in Portland. EVERGREENs’ supports non-profit organizations that provide resources for those experiencing food and housing insecurity or transitioning from hardship into a stable job opportunity. Their seasonal giving events are aimed at raising awareness of and support for the amazing work these organizations do, and a portion from every chef collaboration salad sold will go toward the organization.

The Hillsboro location is now open and is located at 1237 NE 48th Ave, Hillsboro, OR. The location in the Lloyd District will soon follow, opening in early July at NE Hassalo Street, 1061 NE 9th Ave, Portland, OR. EVERGREENs Portland will continue to work and collaborate with local farms, makers, and chefs on its seasonally rotating menu. Both locations will include EVERGREENs signature salads and seasonal creations, including the new chef collaboration salad, Cacio Me If You Can, and are open daily.
