August 27, 2019

EVERGREENS AND GARDEN BAR UNITE TO REVOLUTIONIZE HEALTHY, FAST-CASUAL

The Pacific Northwest’s leading healthy, fast casual concepts join forces in Portland and Seattle metro areas and beyond

SEATTLE, WA and PORTLAND, ORE., August 27, 2019 – Evergreens and Garden Bar, the Pacific Northwest’s two premiere leading healthy fast-casual companies announced they are joining forces today. With its 15 locations in the Seattle metro area including one at Sea-Tac and two locations in the Portland metro area, Evergreens and Garden Bar will unite to operate a joint total of 26 locations with three more on the way by early 2020.

Evergreens and Garden Bar have always had similar missions: commitment to community and to providing healthy, fast meal options in the Portland and Seattle metro areas. Beginning today and over the next several months, all Garden Bar locations will transition to “Garden Bar by Evergreens” outposts, with all employees becoming Evergreens employees. Garden Bar’s CEO and founder, Ana Chaud, will remain part of the team, leading as Vice President of Brand Development. “I could not think of a better outcome for sustaining our commitment to our guests, our team and the overall community. This partnership is a huge win for the Pacific Northwest region and I am excited and honored to be joining the outstanding leadership team at Evergreens,” says Chaud.

By partnering, Evergreens and Garden Bar intend to elevate and exceed expectations for their customers. Guests can expect speedy service, more options for salad, wrap and grain bowl customization and streamlined online ordering. This partnership will also continue to boost the local economy by featuring local products and providing more jobs. Evergreens co-founders CEO Todd Fishman and President Hunter Brooks say, “We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Ana and the Garden Bar family. It’s a true privilege to officially create ties with a brand that is such a staple in the Portland community and whose values align directly with ours. We are committed to continuing the vision that both companies share and are extremely motivated to help our communities eat healthier, better food.”
