ed & White Party at AQUA by El Gaucho Kicks Off 22nd Annual Taste Washington Festival

March 7, 2019

SEATTLE – Taste Washington 2019 officially kicks off at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 28 with the sixth annual Red & White Party at AQUA by El Gaucho on Seattle’s Pier 70 on the waterfront.

Surrounded by stunning scenery, seasonal Northwest cuisine and beautiful wines, this elegant affair encourages guests to dress in their most sensational red and white attire for an evening of unmatched sophistication. Tickets are $175 and available now at tastewashington.org.

Curated by Executive Chef Kevin Benner, the Red & White Party features some of the best seafood and seasonal offerings Seattle has to offer. Go into the “cellars” of 30 premier Washington winemakers to sample their favorite bottles, wine-club only wines, and 90+ point pours. The wines featured at this event are extremely exclusive and will not be available at other Taste Washington events.

“We look forward to hosting the Red & White Party each year because it gives guests a unique opportunity to engage with winemakers in a more intimate setting and taste some really special wines,” said Chad Mackay, CEO, Fire & Vine Hospitality. “It is fun to see the winemakers reconnect and celebrate with each other.”

Taste Washington is produced by Visit Seattle in partnership with Washington State Wine. Follow on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook and visit tastewashington.org for ongoing updates. Images for media use can be found on the website.
