Easter Treats + Spring Sweets!

April 16, 2019

Happy Spring and Happy Easter! We’ve been baking up a storm, and have all sorts of delicious spring treats for your festivities.

Easter Egg Sugar Cookies: Since y’all went wild for our sugar cookies at Valentine’s Day, we decided to bring them back for Easter! You can stop into the shop for a single cookie, or call us to place an order. (Bakers Dozen for $33)

Carrot Cake: We’ve heard a rumor that carrot cake is the Easter bunny’s favorite treat. (Get it? Because, CARROTS. And also, carrot cake is extremely delicious!) We’ll have slices of carrot cake in the shop Fri-Sun this week, or you can call us to order a whole cake for Easter! (Whole carrot cake, $46)

EASTER PIES + QUICHE

Easter brunch? We’ve got a quiche for that. Festive family dinner? We’ve got a pie for that. Whatever your Easter plans, we’ve got you covered with delicious pies and quiche!

The following is a list of seasonal pies and quiche that will be available to order for your Easter gathering:

Quiches:
Rapini Goat Cheese
Braised Greens and mozzarella
Ham Leek and Swiss
Rapini + Bacon
Sorrel & Goat Cheese
Braised Greens and Chorizo

Pies: We’ve got a whole bunch of bright and delightful spring pies, such as Rhubarb Streusel, Rhubarb Blueberry, Lemon Meringue, Blueberry Victoria, Coconut Key Lime, and more! Plus an assortment of our classic pie flavors: Tart Cherry, Blackberry Raspberry Streusel, Salted Honey, Banana Cream, and more. (Visit our website for a current list of pies!)

Pies and Quiche are $37 each, which includes a $3 refundable deposit for the glass pie dish. To ensure you get the quiche or pie that you want, be sure to call in and pre-order. We will have extra pie and quiche in the case on Easter Sunday, if you want to stop in and try your luck! To order, please call {503-235-3119}.

SPRING THINGS!

Spring is in the air, and rhubarb is here! We love the beautiful pink color of rhubarb, and it’s bright and fresh flavor. We’ve currently got rhubarb streusel, rhubarb blueberry, and rhubarb raspberry sour cream on the menu, and we will add strawberry rhubarb once strawberries are in season!

If you’re craving something savory, we’ve got a few new sandwiches and salads on the menu:

*Oregonian Salad: mixed greens, smoked salmon, pickled onions, hazelnuts, goat cheese & lemon dill vinaigrette
*Turkey Club with house roasted turkey, bacon, frisee, cheddar, and meyer lemon aioli on house made ciabatta bread
*Spring Veggie Biscuit with Braised Greens, Meyer Lemon Aioli, and a Fried Egg
