Dutch Apple or Lemon Meringue?

January 22, 2020

January 23, 2020 | PIE DAY

Fifteen years ago, Baker & Spice opened its doors on National Pie Day.

This sweet coincidence – kismet! – is why we make such a fuss about pie every January 23.

At the start, we had no idea what the future would hold or if anyone would visit our little Hillsdale shop.

But we knew then what continues to be true now:  we love to bake and share our passion to create goodness within our community.

That, along with your smiles, greetings and friendships, is what has carried us through early and long “bakers hours” for 15 years.

THANK YOU for letting us share in your morning coffee, be the bread you toast, the cake at your birthday, your after school sweet, weekend treat and the dessert that caps the best holiday gatherings…

But most of all, thank you for sharing in our dream…with your support, we have the honor of being your neighborhood bakery!
Here’s to another 15 years of Pie Day!
