Dumpling Week and Lunar New Year!

January 31, 2022

🥟Dumpling Week | 🧧 Lunar New Year

恭喜发财 Gong Hei Fat Choy wishing you prosperity and good fortune!

As usual Lunar New Year and Dumpling Week coincide, its our most favorite time of the year. A time for new beginnings and growth. We can put the past behind and look ahead.

This year marks the year of the Water Tiger. Years of the Tiger include 2022, 2010, 1998, 1986, 1974, 1962, 1950, 1938.….

The Tiger is known as the king of all beasts in China. The zodiac sign Tiger is a symbol of strength, exorcising evils, and braveness. Many Chinese kids wear hats or shoes with a tiger image for good luck. We will be wearing our tigers all year long.

What this year may mean for you- This will be a year of risk-taking and adventure. We’re finding enthusiasm again, both for ourselves and for others. Everyone is fired up, generosity is at an all-time high and social progress feels possible again. Deep breath with our masks on still of course.

Lunar New Year means spending time with family, honoring and celebrating those who may no longer be with us, eating foods that bring luck and prosperity, and one of the most auspicious foods are dumplings.

We have crafted a braised pork rib bao in the spirit of the Lunar New year and it’s available through Dumpling Week to the 5th. We can’t wait to see you and thank you for your support. If we haven’t said it enough y’all mean the world to us.

Happy New Year and Good Fortune to you and your families!
