Dinner with Le Pigeon & Lac St. Jack, Martin Woods Winery
French et French Dinner with Lac St. Jack & Le Pigeon
Lac St. Jack is officially open in Lake Oswego and Chef Aaron Barnett is planning an unforgettable dinner for you.
For French et French, a part of the Benchmade Knives dinner series, Aaron has chosen to rendezvous with Gabriel Rucker of Le Pigeon to bring together their two iconic French styles into one epic meal. The guys will take turns preparing courses, pulling from their favorite recipes to travel down a path of decadent French cuisine.
The meal will be paired by local winemaker Evan Martin of Martin Woods Winery in the Willamette Valley. Martin Woods wines have been served alongside Chef Barnett and Chef Rucker’s cuisine at St. Jack and Le Pigeon since the founding of the winery in 2016. Winemaker/vigneron Evan Martin is driven by ideals of searching out and partnering with cool-climate vineyard sites in Oregon to produce truly-exceptional, artisan, terroir-driven wines. The aim is to produce wine with the classic qualities of elegance, lifted aromas, textural complexity, weight and tension—highly pleasurable wines that complement diverse cuisine and offer long-cellaring potential. Above all, the goal is to produce wines that distinctly express a sense-of-place…authentic Oregon terroir.
