HELLO FALL: DEPARTURE HOSTS EIGHTH ANNUAL VEGAN DINNER ON OCTOBER 18
Chef Gregory Gourdet welcomes the fall season with Departure’s eighth annual vegan dinner offering 10 globally-inspired courses
On Thursday, October 18 at 6 p.m., Departure and Executive Chef Gregory Gourdet celebrate the arrival of autumn with their annual Fall Harvest Vegan Dinner. Utilizing produce from Zenger Farm, Groundwork Organics, Denoble Farms, and the restaurant’s own rooftop garden, Gourdet presents a 10-course, vegan and gluten-free tasting menu. The health-forward menu highlights Oregon’s organic plant bounty of early fall, showcased via Departure’s signature Asian influence as well as flavors from Mexico, Haiti, and France. A beverage pairing menu featuring wine and vegan cocktails such as the Spiced Carrot Margarita is also available, as well as a non-alcoholic beverage pairing menu featuring drinks such as the Haitian Vanilla & Smoked Fig Cider.
