Customer and Employee Safety at Ground Breaker

March 12, 2020

Customer and Employee Safety at Ground Breaker

Ground Breaker was founded to create beer & food in a family-friendly environment for individuals with celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivities. We have always operated with the intent to provide special care for members of our community with immune disorders. We would like to let the community know that during this unprecedented public health crisis, in addition to following our strict local and national health guidelines and procedures, we are taking extra precautions and measures to maximize the safety of our customers and our employees. As a brewery and restaurant, some of these procedures are already part of our daily routines. Here are some of the precautions we are taking:

  • Increased disinfection of surfaces like door handles, bar top, chairs, faucet handles, and cash registers, etc
  • Temporary suspension of our self-serve water station (water will be provided at your table by a staff member)
  • We will not be filling growlers brought in by customers, instead a free-of-charge vessel will be provided to all customers purchasing growler fills
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers for customer use
  • Reminding staff members that they should stay home if they are feeling ill

We will continue to check in with local health authorities and monitor the situation. We thank our customers deeply for their support over the years. We want to ensure that you feel safe in our establishment and hope that you will continue to join us for your family dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, first dates, celebrations of all kinds or just because it’s Thursday. If you don’t feel comfortable dining in with us, you can always get our 100% gluten-free craft beer & food to-go. The Ground Breaker staff greatly appreciates your support and patronage at this time.
