Crespelle for Takeout, Staff Support Fund

Friends, as you know we’ve had to lay off our staff temporarily while Paolo and I work to keep Burrasca afloat. We’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign to help them meet expenses in the interim – you can donate here. If you’ve ever been on the receiving end of their kind hospitality and good food, please consider helping; even small amounts of $5-$10 will be deeply appreciated!

Crespelle alla fiorentina

Paolo, a one-man-show these days, is cooking up a storm: trays of meatballs and lasagne, and ready-made pasta sauces, which are proving very popular items for takeout.

He’s now offering classic Florentine crespelle—a great option for vegetarians. These are thin savory crepes rolled with nutmeg-kissed spinach & ricotta filling, topped with béchamel and Tuscan-style tomato sauce, then baked. A tray holds 7 portions (counting 2 crepes per person), for $75. Send an email to mangia@burrascapdx.com to place your order!
