Corner Bakery Makes its Highly Anticipated Return to Oregon

December 8, 2020

Popular neighborhood bakery set to reopen its doors in Hillsboro under new management on Dec. 7

PORTLAND (Dec. 7, 2020) – Corner Bakery is preparing to bring its kitchen-crafted, flavor-forward fare back to Oregon!

On Monday, Dec. 7, the popular neighborhood bakery will reopen under new ownership in Hillsboro at 19325 Emma Way #1210 in The Streets of Tanasbourne shopping center. Now operated by Cutter Restaurant Group, Corner Bakery will return with signature dishes that have been guest favorites for years, plus new seasonal fare like Bananas Foster Pancakes and Chicken Rosa Pasta. A grand reopening celebration is planned for January.

“We know the Hillsboro community has been missing Corner Bakery’s fresh, flavorful fare, so we are thrilled to reopen and offer guests a refined experience,” said Jamey Cutter, president of Cutter Restaurant Group. “Our great location in The Streets of Tanasbourne is the perfect place for people to stop in for a convenient cup of coffee, some sweet treats or a deliciously fresh breakfast, lunch or dinner dish while out holiday shopping. We can’t wait to resume serving guests in Hillsboro once again!”

Corner Bakery in Hillsboro will be open for takeout, curbside pickup and third-party delivery from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. This reopening marks the return of the first Corner Bakery in the Portland area and the first location in Oregon, which originally opened its doors in February of 2016.

Guests and team members’ safety is top priority at Corner Bakery. All employees are required to wear a mask and gloves throughout their shifts. Social distancing is enforced through markers on the floors, and where dine-in is allowed, seating is appropriately distanced. Many cafes have patio seating and/or offer curbside pickup, and all offer takeout, delivery, and catering.
