Cornell Farm Cafe Chef Daniel Escalle creates Menu of Delicious Easy-Freezy Heat-at-Home Dinners

March 26, 2020

With the latest Stay Home, Save Lives order from Oregon Governor Kate Brown, many (locals) are looking for new and exciting to-go food options
in the Portland area. Cornell Farm Cafe is very excited to announce a menu of Easy-Freezy, “sophisticated home cooking” frozen dinners that
are now available for pick-up.

Selections such as Roasted Chicken (complete with a whole herbed chicken, spring vegetables, mashed potatoes, and smokey gravy) and
Braised Beef on polenta with spring veggies, are two of the farm to table, scratch-made meals that Chef Daniel has crafted to start this new
service. They come frozen in foil with instructions for oven reheating.

Wine and beer, and selections of cookies made fresh daily in our bakery are also on the menu.

Taste trials had reactions like:  “Food has never tasted this amazingly perfect!”

Orders can be placed on our website (https://cornellfarm.square.site) or by phone (503-292-9895). Orders received by 12pm will be available to
pick up by 4pm the same day. Frozen meals may be kept frozen or popped in the oven as the ultimate no work dine-in alternative.

Our hope is that we will be able to continue to be a staple in our community during this difficult time. We appreciate our loyal patrons and fans, and those working hard to keep our business alive and thriving during this pandemic. We are thankful for those keeping our local economy moving by purchasing gift cards to support local Portland restaurants like ours. We will continue to offer cafe gift cards through
our website:
