Come join Katy Millard from Coquine and Anne Hubatch from Helioterra Wines in the pear orchard at Smith Berry Barn.
You’ll be hard-pressed to find a chef more dedicated to supporting local agriculture than Katy. The moment COVID caused restaurants to close their dining rooms she sprung into action to make sure the producers she depends on had an audience for their products. It’s a welcome relief to know that both her business and theirs have made it through the past few chaotic years — our corner of the world would be far less delicious without Katy.
Anne Hubatch not only makes beautiful wines, she’s keen on supporting her colleagues in the industry and has created what is thought to be the first of its kind all female wine cooperative. When Anne comes to dinner she brings her delicious wines to the field, infectious energy, love of wine and joy in sharing her knowledge of the craft with all she meets.
