Come together at Virtual Happy Hour!

May 27, 2020

Come together every Thursday at 5pm PT for Virtual Happy Hour with NW Cidermakers!

We are making cider connections happen! Each Thursday at 5pm PT we meet with a different cidermaker around the Pacific Northwest to talk shop and taste some of their favorite ciders.

How does it work? Simple. Order your cider 5-7 days in advance (shipped to your door!), register for free then tune in via zoom. Enjoy a complimentary guided tasting with the maker. Hear their unique cider stories first hand and get your questions answered in real time. We are happy to be able to offer this programing at no cost to either cidermakers or cider lovers to help support our makers during this challenging time.

Join us as we travel north to a modern family farm with deep roots in British Columbia, to East Wenatchee, WA where an orchardist and beer fanatic delved into cidermaking and to Vashon Island where Wes and Laura Cherry planted and now harvest their cidery dreams.

We look forward to raising a glass together from the comfort of our own homes. Literally, from our home to yours. Visit nwcider.com for full details!

Creek & Gully Cider
5/28

Over time the smallest creek carves out a gully, forever changing the landscape. Visit Creek & Gully Cider with us and learn how this modern family farm uses fruit from their organic orchard (tended by the family for five generations) to craft wild, alive and unfiltered ciders in beautiful British Columbia. Their happy hour tasting line-up will feature 2018 Orchard Blend, Sparkle, and Pet-Nat. All three are available online for local pick-up, and at a variety of Liquor Stores. Free shipping in Canada on 3 or more bottles & a 10% discount to all pickup orders – no code required. Please register in advance and tune in to taste with us! If you are tuning in from states, feel free to join us drinking a cider or beverage of your choice!

Union Hill Cider

The story of Union Hill Cider in Wentachee, WA began in 2012, when orchardist and beer fanatic roommates got curious about fermenting cider. Fifty acres of cider apples and 8 years later tune in to taste the fruits of their labor. We’ll travel along their cidermaking journey and learn how combining their skills and love of apples enabled them to make the best cider. We’ll enjoy their Pinkheart and Hopped & Hazy Ciders. Order your ciders online or purchase locally in  WA. Please register in advance and join us!

Dragon’s Head Cider
6/11

Wes and Laura Cherry moved to Vashon Island in 2010 with the dream of planting an orchard and starting a cidery. Today, their orchard is full of cider apple and perry pear trees, and their award winning ciders tell the story that apples alone can tell through cider. Dragon’s Head Cider in Vashon, Washington takes a traditional approach to cider making. Their focus is on the apple varieties and the quality of the fruit. We’ll taste their Sparkling Perry, Heritage, and Wild Pet Nat. Available through select retailers, curbside pick up and available for order online.
