Bobby Sands: 66 Days, Documentary, Discussion, and DJs
January 5th DJs at 6.30, documentary at 8pm
Irish freedom fighter and poet Bobby Sands died on hunger strike in May, 1981, this new documentary tells the story of his life and commitment to his beliefs. Discussion to follow, and DJs Dispissed, Soul Survivor, and McSkally will spin Irish Rebel tunes, antifascist Oi! and reggae. Presented by RASH NW and the Red and Black Subculture Club.
2nd Annual Yoga and Cider
January 7th, 10.30 am
Kick off the New Year with a 1.5 hour yoga practice in our production space lead by yoga Instructor Jana Daisy-Ensign of Pomme Boots and Finnriver Farm and Cidery. $20 suggested donation includes yoga instruction and a pint of cider afterwards.

Rock Against Fascism

Punk and hip-hop join forces to fight the rising tide of fascism, we’re very proud to feature this great lineup. Featuring Mic Crenshaw, Chartbusters, Glenn Waco, All Worked Up, Empire Justice, and Bay Area DJs Left of the Dial. Presented by the Red and Black Subculture Club and RASH NW this benefit for the international antifascist defense fund.
Defending Bears Ears
January 21, 3pm-7pm
Join Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance for a fundraiser with the Navajo author of “Edge of Morning: Native Voices Speak for The Bears Ears,” Jacqueline Keeler to learn about Bears Ears National Monument and how you can make a difference to protect Utah’s Wild Red Rock Country. Keeler will speak at 5:00 p.m. on the latest action of the five tribes behind Bears Ears National Monument and read from her book. Her book will be available for sale and signing. SUWA will be raffling off books on wild Utah and other goodies.
New Releases and Closeout specials
We’re proud to announce the release of Everyday Berry, a semi-dry raspberry-blackberry cider, which will join Everyday Semi-Dry in cans this spring. Look for it on draft in our pub and on draft around Portland later this month.
We’re also happy to announce the annual release of Plastic Paddy Dry Irish-Style Cider for Paddy’s Day. Look for it in flagons and on draft in late January.
