Chat with Alan Camarena and Estrella this Saturday!

May 5, 2020

Chat with G4’s Alan CAMARENA and Estrella Juarez

We all love geeking out on tequila – tasting profiles, production details, family histories, and more….

But our favorite tequila makers also have lives and personalities beyond the distillery. Join Experience Agave tour host Estrella Juarez for the first installment of “Tequila Stars con Estrella.” This Saturday, Estrella will be joined by the one and only Alan Camarena – one half of the namesake “Generación Cuatro” of Tequila G4. If you’ve visited the El Pandillo distillery, or seen Alan DJ’ing at a La Cata anniversary party, you know there is much, much more to this unique and talented young man than just tequila. He also just happens to come from one of the most legendary tequila-producing families of the past century!

Estrella will be getting up close and personal with Alan Camarena, sharing sips, tips, music views, and maybe even a bit of gossip. Join us on Facebook this Saturday May 9 at 6pm PST / 8pm CST / 9pm EST. ¡Nos vemos!

Upcoming Reading Group with Clayton Szczech

The first cohort of our online reading group (featuring “Divided Spirits” by Sarah Bowen) was full within three days, and is off to a great start. We already have a waiting list for the second cohort, which will start in three weeks. The group will be limited to ten people, an application is required, and the suggested honorarium is $100. (We will prioritize the participation of those who are out of work or whose business is struggling). Email for further details!
